We are an all-volunteer organization specializing in cave, cliff, high-angle, urban and rough terrain search and rescue operations.


Our goal:

Safe and successful evacuation of the patient

from a hostile environment.


The HCRU is ready to assist any person or agency,
within the bounds of its charter, as a public service.

Member of the Alabama Association of Rescue Squads

and a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization

Rescue Training

General Meetings are held on the Third Tuesday of each month, except in December when we have a Christmas Party


Monthly meetings are held at the Huntsville-Madison County Rescue Squad or Three Caves Quarry
Our meetings include a hands-on training session.
